I was down in Orange County visiting some family for Thanksgiving and found a place called Oggis Pizza in Mission Viejo. I had heard it had good wings, good pizza, and good beers. Sounded like a great place for Friday night. We started off with an order of 6 spicy BBQ wings ($6.99) and 12 Louisiana style hot wings ($11.99) and they were as good as advertised. Nice and meaty, with good flavor on both. I would say I usually prefer the wings a bit saucier than the Louisiana style ones were, but they were still really good. We also ordered a large 16" North Shore pizza ($22.50) and a large 16" sausage, onion, and garlic pizza ($23.50). Both were very good. I really liked their sauce, as well as all the toppings which they definitely didn't skimp on. I also ordered a pint of their stout, and the amber ($4 each) both of which I liked. The place itself was really cool, loaded with TV's and some video games in back. I also saw they have a Sunday breakfast during football which is smart. In all, good place, good food and good beer. Next time I'm down in the area I'll probably make a stop at Oggis.
